Applesauce Chocolate Chip Cookies

• 2 eggs  
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 cups applesauce
• 4 cups flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. cloves
• 1 1/2 t. cinnamon
• 2 1/2 tsp. soda
• 2 cups chocolate chips

Mix as any cookie and bake at 375 for approx. 10 min.
