Cut the bacon into small pieces and brown. Drain most of the grease but not all of it. Add green pepper and onion and saute for about 5 minutes. Mix all the ingredients together and bake in a casserole dish at 350° for 45 minutes to one hour. Bake covered for the first half-hour and stir and then uncover the beans and finish baking.
Blend the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into two half sheet cookie sheets lined with a silicon mat. The silicon mats work better than parchment paper. If you do use parchment paper, make sure to spray it with cooking oil. Spread out using an offset spatula. Bake at 170° for 3-5 hours. The baking time will depend on the thickness of the leather. The leather is done when the puree is completely set. You can cut or tear the leather and store in an air tight container.

Once mixed, add remaining marshmallows. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan with a greased piece of wax paper. Flatten and add remaining flake salt onto the top of the Rice Krispie Treats. To add some fun, you can use different colors of Rice Krispies, you can add sprinkles or food coloring or even M&M's. If adding M&M's wait for the treats to cool before adding them or they will melt.
