Cream butter, Crisco, and sugars together. Add water and vanilla, and eggs until combined. Once mixed, add flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. I love semi-sweet, but you can use any chocolate you like. Spoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Do not over bake!

In large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add pudding and stir well. Add milk, vanilla, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix in flour until smooth. Dough will be slightly sticky. Stir in chocolate chips and chill. DO NOT BAKE. To make truffles...form chilled dough into balls and freeze. Dip in melted chocolate and chill again. Serve cooled. |
